This brown Rum, producted in the respect of the Barbados tradition, will take you back to this island in the south of the West Indies archipelago, with its light and very aromatic rums. Frederico Ambré is a round and long rum on the palate, aged in oak barrel Cognac, it envelops the taste buds of its warmth and its intense notes.
To drink pure or with Ice.
Tasting notes :
Visual appearance : Its straw hue is a result of a 3 years stay in oak barrels at least. It looks limpid with a beautiful brightness.
Nose : Powerful, dry enough but following its stay in oak barrels, the aromas have slightly evolved into honeyed notes, a little gingerbread mixed with woody and slightly vanilla notes. So gourmet.
Mouth: In the mouth, this rum has a good roundness, the vanilla note is developped a little more. It still retains a certain vivacity and warmth.
We find it very balanced with aromas of the nose. The first tannins extracted support the aromatic component while leaving the rum with spicy notes such as cinnamon or cloves.
