COGNAC from “PETITE CHAMPAGNE”, XO 10 YEARS OLD

This “Petite Champagne” cognac comes from the second best cru in the Cognac region. It has been aged in small barrels of oak for a minimum of 10 years and then carefully blended on the property with other Cognac of different ages to obtain the best possible features for this exceptional vintage.

Tasting notes

Visual appearance : The robe is golden, shiny, with abundant tears that means there is a good viscosity.

Nose: Complex aromas of ripe grapes, candied apricot, oak wood. Good balance between the roundness of natural vanillin and the vivacity of cognac. All the aromas are supported by a discreet minerality.

Mouth : In the mouth, the gentleness is amplified, the texture is soft and silky and expresses itself in a perfect harmony.

The notes of candied fruits are getting bigger and declined towards pastry flavors. The finish has a long effective duration of different fragrances like spicy notes such as cinnamon and ginger.
